Ambarella (AMBA) has provided its financial outlook for the second quarter, projecting revenue in the range of $105 million to $111 million. This forecast comes as the company also announced a substantial long-term agreement with Hanwha, which is expected to generate over $800 million in revenue for Ambarella across more than a decade.
Q2 Revenue Guidance
The projected Q2 revenue figures indicate a continued focus on the company’s core business segments. During the first fiscal quarter, Ambarella successfully met its financial guidance for revenue, gross margins, and operating expenses, according to Co-Founder, President, CEO & Executive Chairman Fermi Wang.
Strategic Hanwha Partnership
The agreement with Hanwha represents a significant strategic win for Ambarella. The multi-year deal, valued at over $800 million, highlights the growing demand for Ambarella’s AI-powered solutions in new markets. Wang described this as entering a ‘new and significant phase’ for the company, reinforcing its position as a leader in Edge AI technology.
This substantial long-term commitment from Hanwha is expected to provide a stable revenue stream and further solidify Ambarella’s market presence in the coming years.
