American Express (AXP) confirmed its agreement to acquire Hypercard, known as Hyper, on Thursday. The company stated this move is designed to integrate Hyper’s artificial intelligence (AI) expertise and strengthen AXP’s expense management capabilities, aligning with its strategic focus on innovation.
